Humble Heart Thrift Stores

As COVID put stress on the retail industry, the family chain of thrift stores, Humble Heart, needed to reenergize and reposition their brand in the San Diego marketplace. Their refreshed logo and brand new website demonstrates how their services provide relief for families and emphasizes their many contributions to the community.

Website

The original single-page website offered little information to users and was mostly comprised of user reviews. The website redesign embraces a bold, revamped color palette, and tells the entire heartwarming Humble Heart story from its Ocean Beach beginnings to the 3-store empire it is today. Multiple pages are infused with keywords and keen details about the stores’ 10-year journey. Large images of curated thrift store treasures (not stock photos!) are showcased on desktop and optimized for the mobile experience. Content is expanded to allow for rotating news, brand positioning, their collection of goods, and more.

Logo

Humble Heart needed a logo refresh that could work in tandem with existing signage in all 3 of their San Diego locations. A custom twist on their current font with a color palette revamp did the trick! Simplified variations were also created for use on Instagram and Facebook profiles.

Social Distancing Signage

Safety regulations and social distancing took center stage in 2020. Humble Heart wanted their shoppers to be safe and feel safe. A series of signs were placed throughout the store at various locations to encourage shoppers to do their part, while still embracing Humble Heart's kind and spirited brand.

Eye candy with results.
